New Beginnings

Today was the first day of my second semester of practicum. It is hard because you never know what to expect, but I have already learned so much. It is so helpful that my mentor teacher has recently graduate from BYU, she knows what I am feeling and going through, and is practicing in the classroom what I have been studying and learning to do. I think my biggest take aways today were that it is important to have managment skills up your sleeves left and right. Jasmine (Mrs. Martin) is so good at making sure the students always have something to focus on. The students are constantly engaged. This is something I want to work on.
